Meadow Accounting Automation offered by Bookkeep

Bookkeep enables you to integrate your Meadow account to automate journal entry postings.

The two journal entry postings we automate with Meadow are:

1. Sales Summary -  captures completed orders with their payments by payment type
2. Cost of Goods Sold - captures the cost of goods for that inventory sold on a particular day

The Meadow Sales Summary journal entry posts to your accounting platform the sales from the prior day. This aims to capture the gross sales down to the net sales including discounts, refunds, etc. See below for an example entry:

The second journal entry we support for Meadow is the Cost of Goods Sold journal entry. We capture and post the Cost of Goods sold for prior day sales. This represents an increase in Cost of Goods sold and a reduction of Inventory since items that were sold are removed from inventory and into COGS.  See below for an example entry:
