Treez Journal Entry Templates

Here we discuss the types of journal entries available for Treez

Bookkeep enables you to integrate your Treez account to automate journal entry postings.

The three journal entry postings we automate with Treez are:

1. Sales Summary
2. COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
3. Cash Drawer

The Sales Summary journal entry posts to your accounting platform on a daily basis the sales from the prior day. This aims to capture the gross sales down to the net sales including refunds, sales tax, etc. as well as the different types of payments received for those sales. See below for an example mapping. 

The second journal entry we support for Treez is the COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) journal entry. This journal entry captures and records the Cost of Goods Sold for that specific day, as well as any returns, reducing the inventory by that amount.

The third journal entry we support for Treez is the Cash Drawer. This journal entry captures and records the movement of cash between the Cash Drawer and the Vault for that specific day.
